Thermal Testing Services

Anter Laboratories, Inc., an affiliate of Anter Corporation, the leading manufacturer of thermophysical properties testing instruments, has for over a decade maintained a well-equipped demonstration and testing laboratory for research in the same field. Approximately half of the group's capacity is available to perform tests for customers on a contract or simple fee basis.

CAPABILITIES

The Testing Laboratory is equipped with a permanent complement of instruments and an auxiliary group that is utilized, when needed, for increased testing capacity. New devices, when they become available as new products, are also added to the auxiliary group.

The Testing Laboratory is a fully computerized facility with provisions for plotting all data in reportable form. The results of the tests are communicated in a written test report. Due to the large testing capacity, some tests can be turned around in one to two weeks. Turnaround times of less than a week are available at a 50% premium charge. In addition to testing, sample preparation (machining, etc.) can also be done if necessary.

CONTRACT TEST POLICY

Anter Laboratories, Inc. will accept specimens from customers for the purpose of testing according to a prescribed schedule. These samples must be safe to heat, non-corrosive, nontoxic, non-contaminating, and in general, known to pose no danger to personnel or to the instrument in which they are to be tested. Certain samples not meeting these requirements may be acceptable and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. To ensure the above, the customer is required to complete our Testing Instructions Form and submit a copy with the test samples. Incomplete forms will not be accepted and testing will not proceed until the completed copy is received.
